Offering services thru Internet might not be popular in Malaysia, but getting online services is a trend in overseas. For instance, online restaurant reservation services have been launched since 2007 in New York and San Francisco.
There are approximately 7,000 high-end restaurants around the world are using OpenTable.com, a Web site which allows customers to go for online restaurant reservation. In OpenTable.com, it takes 10 seconds by only few "clicking", which is far better than making reservation thru telephone. Having this service helps to improve the efficiency and profitability of the restaurants, save time and even reduce the error risk.
